Step 1: Load Files
Insert your favorite DVD on the DVD-ROM and load your DVD files through "Load DVD".

Tips: If you want to join the imported items into one file, check "Merge into One File" at the bottom. Set an output directory to save the output files.
Step 2: Output Settings
Click image button at right of each video item, set output file name and click Format to choose "iMovie" as output format from following list. There are a variety of other video and audio formats for output.

Step 3: Put the converted MP4 videos into iMovie

1. Insert DVD.
2. Open Disk Utility.
3. Select the disk and then select "New Image". Save the disk image wherever is convenient, such as the desktop.
